Adaptable Futures

Teaching to create less consumptive, more ecological, and more adaptable futures.

About

Based in Lafayette, CO, we are a teaching group working to lower our world’s consumption, while also developing tech and techniques that have otherwise been ignored or not yet invented due to our cultural understanding of technology. We will not grow out of the climate crisis, we cannot invent the solution, because there is no one solution. Instead, the solutions we need will come from educating ourselves in "resiliency" skills. DIY, STEAM subjects, and accessible education is needed to develop and prepare for the future our children will inherit. We must also recognize that technology should never come before the impact it has on people, and that community organizing is the best technology of all. If we want humans to be here in another 100 years, we have to make changes now, so our great grandchildren can live happier, more sustainable lives.
